This Camp, one of 10, at a private club begun in the late-1800′s, was formerly the Keepers house. A club member purchased it and renovated the Camp for the weekend and summer retreat. We recently developed intense detailing driven by the Owners eye, collection of artifacts, and design skills. Some whimsey allowed the project to explore vocabulary usually unavailable in more traditional settings. A real labor of love.
The stair was formerly utilitarian and uninteresting. With some clever use of local, peeled cedars the post, skirt-board and rails came alive.
